Dr. Patricia Ting is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. She completed her undergraduate degree in Honors Neuroscience followed by a Masters of Science in Psychiatry. She then obtained her medical degree from the University of Calgary and returned to the University of Alberta to complete her dermatology residency. She has been in practice since 2012.
Dr. Ting is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary and is involved in teaching medical trainees. She serves as an examiner for dermatology trainees with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. She has authored over 30 publications in peer-reviewed Canadian, American and International medical journals as well as book chapters in print/online dermatology textbooks including Medscape/WebMD. She has presented her research at national and international conferences.
Dr. Ting provides care to patients of all ages from babies to centurions. Her practice consists of a combination of medical and aesthetic dermatology.
When she is not at work, Dr. Ting spends time with her family, enjoys running outdoors, snowboarding, playing the piano and adventure travel around the world.
