Dr. Carrie Lynde is a board-certified dermatologist who practises at the Lynde Institute for Dermatology in Markham. Dr. Lynde completed her HBSc, Medical Degree and Residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto.  She also completed her LLB at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Lynde acts as an investigator for many clinical trials including those for novel skin therapeutics at Lynderm Research and Probity Research.  She has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at national dermatology scientific conferences.

Dr. Guo is a double board-certified medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologist with fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He has a full spectrum practice with a focus on skin cancer surgery and aesthetic medicine including cosmetic injectables and laser treatments. Dr. Guo enjoys all aspects of his practice and is passionate about helping patients of all ages and skin types treat their concerns and improve their overall skin health.

Dr. Mariah Giberson is a Canadian board-certified dermatologist. She is from the East Coast and graduated medical school from Dalhousie University where she was awarded the Ross Stewart Smith Award for finishing in the top 10% of her class. She completed her 5-year dermatology residency at the University of Alberta and is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Mariah Giberson practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology with a emphasis on a therapeutic patient-physician relationship. Her particular passions in dermatology are: skin cancer acne psoriasis hidradenitis supprativa women’s health

Dr. Nicole Hawkins is a graduate of Nutrition and Biochemistry at Acadia University. She earned her Medical Degree at Queen’s, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto in 2014. She earned her certificate in translational research from Harvard in 2017, and currently practices medical dermatology in Okotoks. Dr. Hawkins has been involved with the Royal College for a number of years, and teaches medical students and residents through her role at the University of Calgary Division of dermatology. Her research interests include photoprotection, acne, and atopic dermatitis. She can be found on Instagram @drnickihawkins.

Originaire de la région de l’Outaouais et présentement vie à Montréal.
Doctorat en médecine (mdcm) obtenu de l’Université de Mcgill en 2014.
Spécialisation en dermatologie obtenue à l’Université de Montréal en 2019.
Présentement complète une surspécialisation postdoctorale de 1 an en dermite de contact à l’Université Mcgill avec le Dr Sasseville, Stanciu et Moreau. Intérêts principaux en dermite de contact et prurit.

Dr. Susan Poelman is a Canadian and U.S. Board-Certified Dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical care of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Poelman has a special interest in melanoma and other forms of skin cancer. Her other interests include acne, rosacea, and psoriasis. Dr. Poelman is currently Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology at the University of Calgary in addition to her work as a general dermatologist at Beacon Dermatology. She has numerous publications and has presented at National and International meetings. Dr. Poelman is currently director of the Centre of Excellence in Photodynamic Therapy at Beacon Dermatology, leads the multi-disciplinary vulvar women’s health clinic at Beacon Dermatology, and is the President of the Canadian Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation. She is secretary treasurer of the Alberta Society of Dermatologists and serves as the Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee of the Canadian Dermatology Association.

Dr Jafarian is an associate professor of dermatology in university of Calgary as well as an adjunct professor of pediatric dermatology in McGill university. She completed her pediatric dermatology fellowship at Saint Justine hospital in Montreal.  She was the Site Director for dermatology training at the Montreal Children’s hospital and Program Director for Pediatric Dermatology fellowship in McGill university from 2015 to 2021. she has authored more than 30 peer reviewed publications since her initial appointment. Dr Jafarian is also involved in adult transplant dermatology clinics to provide care directly for skin conditions that arise in the context of chronic immunosuppression.

La Dr Netchiporouk est chercheur junior au sein du programme Programme en maladies infectieuses et immunité en santé mondiale (MIISM) de l’Institut de recherche du CUSM qui étudie l’auto-immunité cutanée notamment la sclérodermie et l’urticaire chronique. Elle dirige une clinique de soins complexes, de fibrose cutanée et d’urticaire chronique à l’Hôpital Général de Montréal du CUSM. Le programme de recherche de la Dr Netchiporouk est soutenu par plusieurs subventions notamment, de la fondation canadienne de dermatologie, de l’association des médecins spécialistes dermatologues du Québec, du département de médecine du CUSM et du ministère de l’éducation et de l’innovation du Québec. Elle participe activement au programme de formation en dermatologie à l’Université McGill et a reçu de nombreux prix pour excellence en enseignement de la Division de dermatologie. Elle est la fondatrice de la plateforme d’apprentissage interactive en dermatologie pour les résidents de dermatologie et professionnels de la santé intitulée Montréal Derm FilEZ © (Montrealdermfilez.ca) dont le lancement est prévu au début de 2021.

Dr. Samuel Rodriguez is a family physician who dedicates himself exclusively skin health. He practises at the Dermapure Outremont clinic. He is a Guest Lecturer at McGill University’s Department of Family Medicine, where he regularly lectures on acne, eczema and skin procedures. He is a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and he sits on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Dermapure Group of 75 clinics. Dr. Rodriguez regularly presents at national conferences on skin health and aesthetic medicine.

Dr Philippe Lefrançois est professeur adjoint de médecine à l’Université McGill et dermatologue à l’Hôpital Général Juif depuis juillet 2021. Il est aussi chercheur principal à l’Institut Lady Davis de recherches médicales. Ses intérêts de recherche sont l’onco-dermatologie et les cancers de la peau, en particulier les carcinomes basocellulaires et les mélanomes. Dr Lefrançois a obtenu son diplôme de médecine de l’Université de Montréal et a completé sa résidence en dermatologie à l’Université McGill. Il détient également un Ph.D. en génomique de l’Université Yale. Il a publié plus de 20 articles scientifiques. Dr Lefrançois a reçu plusieurs distinctions et prix prestigieux d’organismes internationaux, dont l’American Academy of Dermatology et l’Association Canadienne de Dermatologie. Dr. Philippe Lefrançois is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McGill University and an Attending Staff Dermatologist at the Jewish General Hospital, since July 2021. He is also a Principal Investigator at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research where he studies cutaneous oncology and skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma and melanoma. Dr. Lefrançois received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal, and he completed his dermatology residency at McGill University. He also holds a Ph.D. in genomics from Yale University. He has published over 20 manuscripts. Dr. Lefrançois has received several prestigious international and national awards, including from the American Academy of Dermatology and from the Canadian Dermatology Association.
