Dr. Ahmed Mourad is a board-certified Canadian Dermatologist who was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He is committed to providing patient-centered dermatologic care to all of his patients. Dr. Mourad received his MD degree from the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta in 2019, and subsequently completed his 5-year specialty residency in Dermatology at the University of Calgary, graduating in 2024. His clinical special interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Mourad is an accomplished and award-winning clinical researcher with over 30 peer-reviewed publications in renowned journals, including the British Journal of Dermatology, the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, and Frontiers in Medicine. He has presented his research internationally. Additionally, he is interested in residency education and mentors medical students and resident physicians. Outside of medicine, his interests include fishing, golf, traveling, and playing the piano.
